The following terms and conditions relate to all bookings made with The Glebe Hotel:
Price and Payment
The amount shown on our website at the time you make your reservation and that is set out in our Reservation Confirmation is the amount you will be charged when you check in to the hotel.
Your credit card details will be used to guarantee your booking. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know by 3pm, 48 hours prior to the date of arrival so as to avoid our cancellation charges.
A deposit may be required to guarantee your booking. In some instances, full pre-payment may be required. You will be advised of this at the time of booking.
Your room(s) will normally be available after 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.
If you wish to cancel or amend your booking, please let us know by 3pm, 48 hours prior to the date of arrival by sending us an email or by telephoning the hotel direct. Please note that cancellations or amendments are not permitted on any Advanced Purchase bookings as a full, non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking.
In case of a late cancellation or no-show, a one night accommodation charge will be made to the credit or debit card, details of which were given at the time of your booking.
Cancellation by Us
We shall not be liable for any refund if we cancel your booking due to an event outside our control. This shall include without limitation government intervention, wars, civil commotion, fire, flood, accident, storm, strikes, terrorist attacks and health risks.
Behaviour and Conduct
Reasonable behaviour is expected at all times. Management reserves the right to cancel your booking at any time if any person or group, who in the opinion of management behaves in an objectionable manner or contravenes the Company’s terms and conditions. No refunds will be made for payments already received.
We are delighted to welcome dogs. The hotel must be notified in advance if you plan on bringing a dog so that a suitable room can be allocated. Well behaved dogs are welcome in designated guest rooms with their owners, but not in food service areas. This will include hotel public areas including the bar and restaurants.
Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms or internal public areas of the hotel in accordance with current legislation. If you smoke in your bedroom you will be charged a deep cleaning fee of £150.
